These days she's bringing it to the masses, with her high demand on the club scene, including appearances at the Ministry Of Sound, Fabric, China White and The End, but also with performances as far reaching as Mexico, The Dominican Republic, Thailand, Australia, Russia, South Korea, much of Europe and The U.A.E.
Kinky D’s mastering of her art continues to see her also booked for many high profile and prestigious global corporate events including the MTV Block Party, W Hotels (Doha & South Korea), Moet & Chandon, Vertu, Claridges, Harvey Nichols, and, for nine years, at the Cannes Film Festival. This latter benchmark has propelled her yet further still, seeing her become the resident DJ and Music Director for the Abu Dhabi Film Festival for three consecutive years.
Alongside her personal appearances, as a broadcaster Kinky D has reached an even wider audience with her extensive repertoire, amassing over 800 hours with her own radio show ‘Xcess With Kinky D’ on BBC Radio 1Xtra. She has promoted many events and hosted club nights in exclusive venues and clubs in both London and Doha and is currently the promoter and resident dj for ‘Doha Hustle’ which has been running consecutively for the last 3 year in Qatar playing the best in Soul, Funk, Disco and 90’s R&B/Hip-Hop.
She has worked alongside some of the top names within the industry, including 50 Cent,Todd Terry, Kenny Dope, Seani B, plus MOBO Award winners Steve Sutherland and Manny Norte. Her work has also encompassed playing alongside Motown legends The Supremes and The Temptations. Kinky D has also had the opportunity to headline with both Jocelyn Brown and Kelis, in Doha with Maxi Priest, and more recently with Robbo Ranx, Mark Ronson and DJ Black Coffee.
