Ronnie Herel

Ronnie Herel is a true ambassador of Urban Music.

Ronnie has more than paid his dues in the R&B club scene, which dates back to 1989 with his first DJ promotion The Kat Club at Bar Rhumba (London). Moving on from this Ronnie established himself further with two impressive London residences “Club YoYo” and “Funk” @ Sound.

He also joined Trevor Nelson at the MTV Lick Parties in Ayia Napa and Leeds and on the Radio 1 stage at the Notting Hill Carnival, all this led to Ronnie being voted best club DJ by the readers of ‘Blues & Soul’ magazine in 2000. Ronnie’s success has further been recognized with two MOBO nominations in the categories of ‘Best Radio Show’ and ‘UK Best Club DJ’.

At the moment you can catch Ronnie at his London Residency first Friday of every month @ The Bedroom Bar (Universal Soul) (Shoreditch - London).

Internationally he spins in Switzerland, Ayia Napa, Dubai, Jersey, Croatia, Ibiza, Slovenia and Russia, also being a veteran DJ at the legendary ‘Southport Weekenders’ and SunceBeat festival in Croatia playing Soulful House sets as well as big classics from yesteryear!

Marcia Carr

Marcia Carr is a seasoned international club DJ and radio presenter with over 30 years experience. She's the producer of Everything Good (Rinsefm), the curator and creative director of the all-vinyl, female DJ squad Girlz B Like, producer of the critically acclaimed video series 2 Decks And A Mixer and occasionally makes Dance tunes.

DJ Marcia Carr has dj'ed with the likes of Derrick Carter, Phil Asher (rip), Horsemeat Disco, DJ Paulette, Gerd Janson, Josey Rebelle, Kerri Chandler, Bradley Zero, Dave Lee, Rahaan Rah, Karizma, DJ Spinna, Norman Jay MBE, Jumping Jack Frost, Kev Beadle, Jazzie B (Soul II Soul), Cosmo, Seamus Haji, Scarlett O' Malley, Shy One, Marc Mac (4Hero), Dan Shake, Gilles Peterson, Emerald, Aroop Roy, Kinky D, Jan Kincaid and many more.

She's currently a monthly resident DJ at Jazz Cafe's Soul, Disco, & House party Soul City, and in house at The Cause (Tottenham). Also a keen vinyl enthusiast, Marcia has been a guest DJ at parties for Alchemy, Lovebox Festival, Ministry of Sound, Jazz Re:Freshed, Across The Tracks, Rinsefm and much more.

 

REGGAE - DANCEHALL

Robbo Ranx

Known to the Reggae & Dancehall world as Robbo Ranx, Roger Robinson has grown to be the UK’s biggest Dancehall selectors and one of the most enduring characters on British radio. His talent as a selector has expanded to almost every major city in the UK and Europe. Robbo's early introduction to music was like most, through a sound system, learning the art of entertaining on a sound he and school friends formed. To gain experience he frequently played for free at School discos, house parties, youth centres, blues dances and sound clashes. In 1998, Robbo took Dancehall to London’s west and held down an 11 year residency with his weekly ‘Uptown Splurt’ parties at Cameo’s Nights Club, pulling audiences of 400 plus hosting act such as Sean Paul, Elephant Man and Shaggy to name a few.

With an incredible ability to communicate with his audiences, Robbo Ranx is regarded as an integral player in the growth of Dancehall in the UK, which was once seen as minority music. He is an entertainer by nature always out to please his audience and a serious trusted tastemaker who brings the freshest Dancehall to an ever increasing worldwide fan base.

2Traxx

Since 2012, when 2Traxx first burst onto the London music scene, she has released some widely anticipated mixes. Specialising in House, UK Garage Afro Beats

She has been pushing her musical boundaries to new limits. Collaborating with some of the biggest performers around, 2Traxx is certainly a Dj to keep you ears and eyes on.

Having played both Home and abroad her greatest achievements so far are spinning her 1, 2 Traxx at Pacha Turkey, Thailand, Mexico, Velvet Ibiza, Scala, Ministry of Sound, Brighton Pride, UKBlack Pride and resident show at Freek FM.

2Traxx is currently resident Dj at Londons biggest Urban LGBTQ event Urban World held at Scala..

 

FUNK - SOUL - R&B - HIP HOP - HOUSE - GARAGE

AfroChick

London born MC Brandy has smoothly transitioned to the decks, under her alias AFROCHICK.

Launching her DJ career with a bang!, supporting soul singer Omar at his sold out appearance early 2015. Giving her the confidence and determination which has her steadily blowing up over the two years, playing at some of the best clubs in London including Electric, POW, Plan B, Ekcovision, Market House, Trafik, Cargo, Cafe 1001 & Dogstar. Securing residences and various corporate events across London.

The summer of 2016 saw her supporting the likes of Nenah Cherry and Jazzie B, also landing an international contract in The United Arab Emirates.

AFROCHICK sets Span from late 1960s to the early 2000! Dropping tracks that get you in the party mood! Tunes that breathe life into your feet when you think it's all over!! Whether it be Funk & Soul, RnB & Hip Hop or House & Garage, AFROCHICK rocks a party like no other DJ, with her unorthodox mixing style, dropping warning shots of infectious intros keeping the vibe alive!
